Robert Giering is proud to be the principal at Uwchlan Hills Elementary School. Before coming to Downingtown, he taught 4th grade for five years and was an IST for one year in the Reading School District. He then served as a middle school assistant principal for a year and an elementary assistant principal for another year. After his time in Reading, Robert served as the principal of Barth Elementary School, in the Pottstown School District, for the next 7 years.
Robert is a graduate of Kutztown University where he earned a BA in communications and a BS in elementary education. He earned a Masters degree from Wilkes University in educational leadership, which included his K-12 principal certification.
Robert lives with his wife and three children in Exeter Township. When not at work, he enjoys spending time with his family, reading, and being outside.
